Job Overview:
Gulfway Delivery Company is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Leader to manage and oversee the riders working on various key projects, including partnerships with platforms like Noon, Careem, Talabat, Carrefour, Aster Pharmacy, Aramex, and others. As the Project Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, addressing rider-related issues, and leading the rider teams to meet project goals efficiently. The role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rider Management: Supervise, coordinate, and lead the riders working on various delivery projects (Noon, Careem, Talabat, Carrefour, Aster Pharmacy, Aramex, etc.), ensuring all riders are aligned with company goals and service standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by riders, including route-related problems, safety concerns, or operational challenges. Ensure quick and effective resolution to maintain smooth operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate rider performance, including delivery times, customer satisfaction, and adherence to protocols. Provide constructive feedback and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Training and Support: Conduct regular training sessions for riders to ensure they understand company policies, safety procedures, and customer service expectations. Provide ongoing support to riders for any queries or operational difficulties.
  • Coordination with Partners: Act as the main point of contact between Gulfway Delivery Company and external partners (such as Noon, Careem, Talabat, etc.) regarding rider performance and project-related updates.
  • Reporting: Generate and submit regular reports on rider performance, project status, and any issues encountered. Keep management informed about ongoing operations and any required improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive work environment and build a cohesive team by motivating and supporting riders to achieve their best performance. Handle any disciplinary actions when necessary, ensuring a professional and compliant workplace.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure that all riders are equipped with necessary tools and resources, and help improve operational processes to optimize delivery speed, cost, and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Leader or in a similar role, managing delivery operations or logistics teams.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a large team of riders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to address complex rider-related issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus) and the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Good knowledge of delivery platforms such as Noon, Careem, Talabat, Carrefour, Aster Pharmacy, Aramex, and similar companies is a plus.

The Administration Officer will be responsible for managing and tracking the company’s inventory, including essential delivery equipment and assets. This role involves assigning assets (such as bikes, helmets, bandanas, shirts, trousers, caps, mobile stands for bikes, SIM cards, etc.) to riders, as well as ensuring that all administrative processes related to inventory and asset management run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage the company’s inventory, including delivery assets and equipment (bikes, helmets, bandanas, shirts, trousers, caps, mobile stands, SIM cards, etc.), ensuring everything is accurately tracked and accounted for.
  • Asset Assignment: Assign delivery assets to riders based on need and availability. Ensure that all riders are properly equipped with necessary tools to perform their duties efficiently and safely.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of asset distribution and returns. Update inventory lists and logs regularly, ensuring that all records are kept up to date and easily accessible.
